Vision

WasteExpoAfrica, WasteExpoAsia and WasteExpoArabia (collectively "WasteExpo") are platforms dedicated to advancing sustainable waste management, recycling, and circular economy practices across, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Our vision is to foster a zero-waste future by promoting innovation, collaboration, and knowledge exchange among industry stakeholders, governments, and communities.

Mission

To accelerate the transition toward sustainable waste management and circular economies by:

1. Connecting industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators.

2. Educating on best practices, technologies, and policies.

3. Showcasing African, Asian and Middle Eastern solutions to global waste challenges.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Country Representative, you will:

✅ Promote WasteExpo in your region via events, media, and partnerships.

✅ Identify & Showcase local waste management innovations and case studies.

✅ Engage Stakeholders (governments, businesses, NGOs) to participate in WasteExpo.

✅ Report Quarterly on national waste trends, challenges, and opportunities.

✅ Support Fundraising & Sponsorships for WasteExpo initiatives.

✅ Uphold Ethical Standards – Avoid conflicts of interest and misuse of branding.

Strategy for Impact

WasteExpo achieves its mission through:

🔹 Annual Expos & Regional Roadshows – Highlighting waste-tech, policy, and business models.

🔹 Knowledge Hub – Curating case studies, whitepapers, and best practices.

🔹 Policy Advocacy – Supporting governments in waste regulation and circular economy frameworks.

🔹 Training & Workshops – Capacity-building for SMEs and municipalities.

Application & Approval Process

Apply to be a Country Representative using the form below.

Review by WasteExpo Steering Committee (approval within 14 days).

Onboarding – Signed charter, branding guidelines, and introductory briefing.

Performance Review

Bi-annual check-ins to assess impact and challenges.

Inactive representatives may be replaced to ensure regional momentum.

Branding & Intellectual Property

Authorized Use Only: CRs may use WasteExpo branding only for approved events/promotions.

No Unauthorized Fundraising: All sponsorships must align with WasteExpo guidelines.

Continuous Learning

CRs are encouraged to:

📌 Attend waste management forums.

📌 Complete courses on waste management, circular economy etc (e.g., Waste Institute, UNEP).

📌 Join and Participate on WasteExpo social platforms like LinkedIn / YouTube etc.
